Peanut Butter Chocolate Crispy Log

1 (10 oz.) package large marshmallows
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup peanut butter, divided
5 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions: Line a 15x10 inch pan with waxed paper; grease the paper and set aside. In a large microwave-safe dish, combine the marshmallows, butter and 1/2 cup of the peanut butter. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes; stir until well blended. Stir in cereal until well coated. Spread into prepared pan. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave, uncovered, chocolate chips on high for 2 minutes or until melted. Stir in other 1/2 cup peanut butter until well blended and smooth. Spread over cereal mixture to within 1 inch of edges. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with long side, peeling away waxed paper while rolling. Place seam side down on a serving plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set. Cut into 1-inch slices. Makes 10 servings.
