4 (15 oz.) cans green beans, drained
1 lb. bacon
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup ketchup
Directions: Fry bacon in pan. Remove bacon, drain and cut up in small pieces. In bacon grease brown onion, drain and remove. Mix together brown sugar, ketchup, onion and bacon. In 9x13 inch pan place green beans. Add the ketchup mixture over the top. Bake 250-300°F. Can make the night before or bake ahead and rewarm in microwave.
Notes: I have given this recipe to almost everyone who has this at my house. My husband doesn't care for green beans but this is his favorite.
