Chocolate Sheet Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 sticks oleo
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons buttermilk
1 to 11/2 box(es) powdered sugar

Directions: Mix sugar, flour and soda. Melt 2 sticks of margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa and water, bring to a rapid boil, then pour over dry ingredients and mix. Add mixture of 1/2 cup buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Bake in 11x15 inch greased and floured pan at 350°F for 20 minutes. Ice cake while hot. For icing melt 1 stick margarine. Add 4 tablespoons cocoa and 6 tablespoons buttermilk. Bring to boil then add 1 to 11/2 box(es) of powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Spread while hot. Cake batter will be thin before baking.
