1/2 cup butter
1 cup quick cooking rolled oates
1/4 cup nuts, pecans or walnuts, chopped
2-3/4 cups powdered sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup coconut
1/4 lb. dates, finely chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 stick paraffin
1 cup chocolate bits, semi-sweet
Directions: Melt butter. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well by hand. Shape into small balls and dip in chocolate glaze. To prepare glaze melt paraffin and chocolate bits. Stir until melted.
Notes: Grandkids love these chocolate drops for either cookies or as candy.
