2 packages yeast
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2/3 cup margarine, soft
4-1/2 to 5 cups flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions: Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in milk, sugar, salt, egg, butter and 2 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface, knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise in warm place until double, about 1-1/2 hours. Punch down dough, divide into 24 equal pieces, place about 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Make depression in center of each and fill with 1-1/2 tablespoon filling, leaving 1/4 inch ridge around outside of circle. I use cherry pie filling for the filling. Let rise until double, about 30 minutes. Heat oven to 350°F and bake 15 minutes.
