Grandma's Brownie Sheet Cake

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans or walnuts, optional

Directions: In a bowl combine flour and sugar. Bring to a boil margarine, cocoa and water and pour this over the sugar and flour mixture. Add milk, eggs, soda, cinnamon, vinegar and vanilla mix well and pour into greased pan (makes a large sheet cake). Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. To prepare the icing start 5 minutes before the cake is done. Melt and bring to a boil margarine, cocoa, milk. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla, beat well. Add nuts if you desire and spread over cake while still hot.

Notes: Icing can be a little thick.
